THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING!!!

Heads up People!

The club is ready and back in action! We would like to thank everyone for the patient wait for us to start with the first meeting!

First and foremost, we would like to announce the Annual General Meeting for the year of 2009! The details are as follows:

Date: 25th of February 2009 (Wednesday)
Time: 4.00 to 5.00 p.m.
Venue: Pending Confirmation (It will be one of the classrooms in main campus)
Agenda: - Meeting New Members
- Election of new Board of Directors (BOD)
- Laying out plans for 2009
- Hearing from all of you!
- Collection of Membership Fees~!

For those who wish to be elected as members of the BOD, please send a CV of past ECA involvement (in school etc.) and a short personal statement on why you wish to be on the BOD.

The activities and ideas being tossed around at the moment include:

• Lectures or Workshops
• Visits to Photography Studios
• Outing/Field Trips (Suggest a Place!)
• Internship opportunities for Members in Photography Firms!
• Classes (Basic Technical Stuffs & Sharing!)
  
• Exhibitions (LOMO anyone?)
  
• and, COMPETITIONS!
  

Please remember to bring RM5 as the membership fee for 2009! (Its just a token sum to print stuff. So, please pay.)

ECA day 2009

Hi. Steven here, reporting what happened on this years first ECA drive. So lets get on with it...

At about 3pm, I met up with Zi Yang and set up out 'booth' which is 'stategically' located in the cafeteria. We were seriously undermanned but a we still go by without any major problems. A new member called Zu Ken helped me out. He was the first to sign up, helped me abit by attacting more potential members. Thanks dude!

At the end of the day, we managed to get 69 people to sign up. I left the member list in the piegeon hole, i have a photocopy if that goes missing... so the IT guy, whoever is it now... please get the list and log it into our database.

Venue: TUC Main Campus Classroom 2.5

Meeting -
Planning for club activities i.e. Workshops/Competitions/Trip etc. All fascinating ideas are welcomed!

Recruitment -
We need more manpower, drag your friends along if they're interested to help the club grow!

Attendance for EXCO is compulsory.

For those who don't get a chance to exhibit your photos, do not be discourage. We did it quite in a rush and not really have time to ask everybody to summit their best photos. By right JenRic had ask us to send him early but seem no 1 did that including my self. Sorry about that. Hopefully we do better respond for the upcoming event!!

Finally thanks for those who come and help for the exhibition. Especially JenRic running here and there, Vivian and also Justin!!
